Objective The aim of this study is to observe the effect of pre-infusing small dose of ephedrine on propofol constant infusion in elderly general anesthesia induce, and further to explore eligible induce mode of clinical constant infusion.Method ASA Ⅰ-Ⅱelderly patients both male and female were collected in this study. The one expriment:Twenty elderly patients undergoing general anesthesia were randomly divided into pre-infusing ephedrine (E) group and control (C) group. All patients were received1%propofol1.5mg/kg at the speed of10ml/min. then fentanyl5μg/kg. rocuronium bromide0.7mg/kg for induction, ephedrine0.1mg/kg was injected before propofol in group E. and the same volume normal saline was given in group C. Bispectral index (BIS), Blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), arterial oxygen saturation (SpO2) were monitored and recorded at before anesthesia. before trachea intubation. and lmin.3min.5min.7min after trachea intubation. The Second expriment:Thirty elderly patients undergoing general anesthesia all were administrated ephedrine 0.1mg/kg before induction, and induced by1%propofol constant infusion project. Patients were randomly divided into3groups:20ml/min induction (F),10ml/min induction (M),5ml/min induction (L), BP, HR, SpO2, BIS also were monitored and recorded at time as experiment one.Result There were no significant difference among groups when respect to sex, age, and body weight (P>0.05).The one expriment:BIS could reach the satisfactory demand for general anesthesia in the course of induction both groups. There is statistical significance in BP change (P<0.05), when compared with basic level and E group, rangeability of BP of C group comparatively large (P<0.05), but BP in E group was stable. The Second expriment:No difference was found in SpO2among the three groups. When compared with both M and L group, there is change in BP of group F with statistical significance (P<0.05). A comparatively larger rangeability was found for BIS in group L than F and M (P<0.05), further more some quantitative value of BIS rise to70.Conclusion Pre-infusing small dose of ephedrine at course of propofol constant infusion induction could reduce fluctuation of hemodynamics in elderly general anesthesia, the project of10ml/min induction make hemodynamics more stable and satisfy the requirement for depth of anesthesia.
