ObjectivesHemorrhoids is one of the most common diseases in Anorectal clinic. Surgical intervention is the main treatment of choice for the Ⅲ、Ⅳ degree hemorrhoids. Due to the particular anatomy of anus, operations on these areas could easily lead to various of complications. Urinary retention, one of the most common complications after surgery, it is easy to cause a urinary tract infections even insecondary refluxing,which increase the suffering、the recovery time of patients, and also the medical cost. Currently, there are mang ways to treat postoperative uroshesis, but there are still some defects all of them. To achieve the aim,we choose the DONG’S Acupuncture to hurt for a new traetment which is cheap、highly effective and easy to manipulate normatively and less side effects.MethodsSixty nine undergoing hemorrhoidectomy with subarachnoid space block anesthesia between September2011and April2012, who were randomly divided into two groups:the experimental group (DONG’s Acupuncture group,34patients)and the control group(Oral drug group Tamsulsosin Hydrochloride Caps,35patients). The test group were treated with DONG’s Acupuncture, for20~30min, and the control group with. Tamsulsosin Hydrochloride Caps0.2mg po. The curative effect in2hours after treatment is assessed according to of grade3evaluation standard. The adverse effect were recorded simultaneously. All data were analyzed by SPSS13.0.ResultThere are no significant differences existed between them in the following respects:Gender, age, hemorrhoids installment,the operation method, incision number, treatment time from anesthesia.. The levl of Abdominal distension and the need to urinate feeling were also sim-ilar before treatment. The two groups were comparable. The first compl-aining of postoperative ur-oschesis in both group was mainly happendin7.5-10.5hours after the operation. The system of postoperative ur-oschesis were ameliorated obviously. The first time of urinating aft-er the treatment was a significant difference(P<0.05),42:10±23:17in the experimental group and23:16±18:04in the control group. There are no significant differences existed between them in improving of systems、voiding time、Voided volume、total effective ration.ConclusionThe results of this study indicate that acupuncture"sanhuang point"used in the treatment of postoperative hemorrhoid urinary retention, can effectively relieve urinary retention symptoms like abdominal dis-tension, urgency of urination. The overall effect is similar betweenthem,but acupuncture effected more slowly. This study is supportive to DONG’s Acupuncture could be used to treat urinary retention.
