| Background: Coronary heart disease(CHD) is one kind of multifactors and polygenesrelatived diseases, and its complex pathophysiologic characteristics have not beencompletely clarified. cathepsinL(CATL)is a kind of papain family of homocysteineproteolytic enzymes and has shown great effect on the process of athero–sclerosis,CATL has been testified in many animal experiments that can promote the proliferationof VSMCs, expand the size of myocardial infarction in annimal’s ischemia/reperfusionmodel and increase reperfusion arrhythmia. But few researches have made on humanbody. Objective: To determine levels of blood serum CATL between patients with CHD andnormal control group, and to explore the roles and clinical significance of Blood serumCATL in the pathogenesis of CHD.Methods: Coronary angiography (CAG) were performed in64hospitalized patientssuspected as having coronary heart disease(CHD).Patients who were confirmed withCHD were internalized to CHD group(n=64),and non-CHD group as controlgroup(n=26).The CHD group were further devided into3subgroups,they were stableangina pectoris(SAP,n=27); unstable angina pectoris(UAP,n=23);and acute myocardialinfarction(AMI,n=14).Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay were made use of to detectBlood serum CATL levels. The corresponding data were analyzed by spss17.0software.Results:(1) Blood serum CATL levels in subgroups of SAP were higher than that innormal control group(2942.74±280.62vs1654.16±154.16ng/mL, P<0.05),Blood serumCATL levels in subgroups of UAP were higher than that in SAP group(5479.38±485.60vs2942.74±280.62ng/mL,P<0.05),Blood serum CATL levels in subgroups of AMIwere higher than that in UAP group(6091.70±315.52vs5479.38±485.60ng/mL,P<0.05);Blood serum hs-CRP levels in subgroups of SAP were higher than that innormal control group(1.44±0.29vs0.38±0.22mg/L, P<0.05); Blood serum hs-CRP levels in subgroups of UAP were higher than that in SAP group(4.16±0.54vs1.44±0.29mg/L,P<0.05);Blood serum hs-CRP levels in subgroups of AMI were higherthan than that in UAP group (6.00±0.90vs4.16±0.54mg/L,P<0.05)(2) Blood serumCATL levels and Blood serum hs-CRP levels were Positively related in Gensiniscore((R=0.554, P<0.05),((R=0.598,P<0.05)).(3)Blood serum CATL levels werePositively correlated with TC,TG, and non-correlated with high blood pressure.Conclusions:1. Blood serum CATL levels in subgroups of SAP are higher that in thenormal control group.2. the CATL levels gradualy increase from SAP, UAP to AMI.3.There are positive correlation between blood serum CATL levels and Gensini score insubgroups of CHD. |
