To Promote The Construction Of Balancing Urban And Rural Medical System In Undeveloped Areas In China

The goal that making social security system sound and narrowing the disparity betweenurban and rural areas which is one of the most important goals in the future work was putforward in the twelfth Five-Year Planning in the last year. The medical security system, as animportant part of social security system, relates the health of the whole citizens, and thedevelopment of the medical security system directly relates the practical benefit of the commonpeople. Therefore, speeding up the medical security system of urban and rural areas coordinationis a hot topic which is concerned about by all walks life of people. To our country that istransforming its economic development pattern, balancing the medical security system in theurban and rural areas has an important practical significance.In the present condition, the development of medical security system in the urban and ruralareas is unbalanced. Especially, the medical security system in the undeveloped areas has a bigdifference with that in the developed areas. As a result, it hinders the step of accelerating themedical security system of the urban and rural areas coordination, and hampers the constructionof a harmonious society. Although the government has made a great effort to improve themedical care condition in the undeveloped areas, it didn’t succeed. Then how to balance theurban and rural medical security system is a study-deserved task.First, this thesis defines which areas belong to undeveloped areas and states the relevanttheories. Second, by analyzing the present condition of urban and rural medical security systemcoordination in the undeveloped areas, it points out the existing problems, the reasons for theseproblems and the necessity of balancing the urban and rural medical security system. Third,taking some examples of balancing the urban and rural medical security system, such as theundeveloped areas, E Zhou and Ningxia in China, some undeveloped countries, Brazil and India.Last, on the basis of state condition, it puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions abouthow to balancing the urban and rural medical security system in the undeveloped areas.
