With the rapid development of social science and the everlasting progress of human life,Model Establishment has been occupying an increasingly important role in the scientificresearch and the application of software in our daily life. Confronting complex problems,modern science technology is used to observe more and more data, in which case thecorresponding mathematical model is needed to be established to describe the input andoutput relationship of an abstract system. The method of establishing model through evolutionis a method of generating strong and steady Function Model by evolutionary algorithmthrough repeated tests. With Evolution modeling method, even if the model structure has notyet come into being, some basic units of a model can still be constituted only basing on thecharacteristics of the problems.Based on the application of improved Gene Expression Programming (GEP) algorithminto Dietary Nutrition Input Model, this paper mainly focuses on the following aspects ofwork:Firstly, this paper makes an introduction of the problems of Model Establishment byevolution basing on Gene Expression Programming. In this paper, the theory, structure andkey technologies of Gene Expression Programming is expounded, related concepts of ModelEstablishment by evolution is introduced, and the advantages of applying GEP into thisproject is defined according to the actual demand of the system.Secondly, this paper improves the GEP algorithm, and achieves further optimization ofparameters within the model. Also, this paper makes an analysis of the property of theimproved GEP algorithm, and combines the improved GEP algorithm with ModelEstablishment by Evolution. With reference to the Chinese Residents Dietary Guidelines, theBalanced Nutrition Pagoda Structure as well as the nutrition standards for special diseasepatients, special disease nutritional meals input model is designed, the established clinicaldietary input model catering is assessed, and the test results is used to prove the feasibility andpracticality of the input model.Again, this paper sets up a knowledge base of nutrient input model, basing on thecombination of the established Dietary Nutritional Input Model and ontology, making thisknowledge base much easier to be shared and reused.
