| BackgroundHealth professionals are the defender of people health and life, so the mental health of them not only interrelated with themselves, but also directly influence the attitude and quality of service. Medical care is a high risky and skilled job, it has more working pressure then other occupation, if the health professionals having lived long in a environment which is tension, depress, lose confidence, it will severely influence the quality of medical care and the relationship between health professionals and patients, it has become a social problem. The country government-run hospital is the head of the three-tier medical network in China, so find out the issues and determines of mental health of health professionals, table proposals to solve the problems, will contribute to the primary health care and it has a high realistic meaning.ObjectivesThe study aims to understand the mental health status among health professionals in county government-run hospitals in Shandong province and analyze its determines, so as to provide recommendation for early prevention and treatment about health professionals’psychological problems, to improve their work performance and quality of medical services. MethodsIn this study, a multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was used. The study interviewers were health professionals in county government-run hospitals in Weihai, Dongying, Heze in Shandong province.3200questionnaires were distributed and2903copies were collected, the effective rate is90.7%. ACESS software was used to establish the database and SPSS17.0and Lisre18.70were used to statistical analysis. Data analysis methods are:(1) Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was used to test reliability of the scale and evaluate the internal consistency of the scale.(2) To descriptive the general situation:mean and standard deviation were used in the numeric data or nearly numeric data; rate and proportion were used in the categorical data.(3) Non-parametric test was used in univariate analysis of the factors for the psychological issues.(4) Binary Logistic regression was used to explore determines in the multivariate analysis.(5) Structural equation model was used to analysis determines and the function of the each determines.Main Results:1. The prevalence of cases of mental health was33.2%, the first four entry of a high prevalence are:whether act a important role in the positive emotion section, can not overcome difficulty, depress, anxiety and insomnia in the negative emotion section, the numerical value of abnormal index are:47.5%,35.3%,35.0%,31.5%. In general, the abnormal rate of positive emotion section is higher than negative emotion section.2. The univariate and multivariate analysis showed that the department of health professionals, working life, average monthly incomes, physical training, quality of sleep, time conflicts, behavior conflicts, objective support, availability of support, the respect of patients, work environment, degree of trust are the main risk factors for mental health of health professionals.3. By building structural equation model to analysis the determines for mental health, the evaluation index show that the model-fitting is good, take part in social insurance, average monthly incomes, working life, physical training, quality of sleep, the respect of patients and residents, self rating social status, degree of trust he results are are the main risk factors for mental health of health professionals.Countermeasures and Suggestions: According to the results and the actual situations, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward as follows:(1)Individual level:to develop good habits, cultivate ability for emotion management and the style for active coping; communicate with families, structure a harmony family aura; participate in social activities, improve the interpersonal skills; enhance professional skills, appreciation the position of life.(2) Organization level:perfect hospital management system, take both scientific management and humanistic care into consideration; conduct psychological health education, improve the work environment; manager give more attention to health professionals, help them structure social support system; increase input into country government-run hospital, pay more attention to the weak departments of hospitals.(3):Social level:conduct the direction of public opinion, give health professionals more respect and trust. |
