This paper is consist of three parts, Part one, the status of development and utilization of Dark Tea, Eurotium cristatum and roots of Cichorium intybus L. in recent years were reviewed; Part two, the biological characteristics and shaking fermentation culture conditions of E.cristatum were researched, which can provide reliable data for its industrial productions in the future; Part three, the preparation of compound Dark Tea were researched, the preparing technologies of compound Dark Tea granules were optimized and its homologous quality standards were formulated, we also carried out an experiment on the preliminary stability of compound Dark Tea granules which can provide important scientific research materials for its industrial productions in the future. The research materials of Dark Tea, E.cristatum and roots of Cichorium intybus L. of recent years were summarized and their chemical constituents, pharmacological effects and status of utilization were reviewed. The optimum solid culture conditions of E.cristatum were studied by single factor experiments, the results are as follows:the optimum solid culture medium was CZG, the temperature was29℃, the initial pH value was5.5. The liquid fermentation conditions of E.cristatum were studied by orthogonal experiments, the results are as follows:the initial pH value was5.5, the shaking flask was120r-min-1, the temperature was30℃.In order to enhance the development of Dark Tea, Research on the preparation of Dark Tea were carried out systematical by the prescription, extracting conditions and preparing technology screening. The optimum extracting and processing technologies of compound Dark Tea granules were selected by orthogonal experiments. The quality standards of compound Dark Tea granules were established. The root of Cichorium intybus L. in compound Dark Tea granules was identified by TLC. The flavonoids of Gingko Biloba L. which is the active constituent of the preparation was determined by HPLC. On the basis of quality control, the preliminary stability was fulfilled, which confirmed that the optimal preparation technology was reasonable, the standard was controllable and the quality of the sample were steady.
