Acient Medical Literature Study About San Yinjiao(SP6) Acupoints Based On Data Mining Technology

Objective: To summarize the diseases that San Yinjiao (SP6) acupoint can cure andthe regularity of compatibility by systematically analyzing the data of ancient medicalliteratures involving San Yinjiao (SP6) acupoint and to provide literature references andtheoretical basis for the clinical use and scientific research through the data miningtechnology.And to provide the reference model for acupoints’ research through data miningtechnology.Methods:Using"Chinese Medical Classics"published by electronicaudio-visual publishing houses in Hunan as our database source,got the relevant clausesreferring to the descriptions involving San Yinjiao(SP6) acupoint alone and thedescriptions involving other acupoints. Then set up a database and selected the data miningtool SPSS CLEMENTINE which was internationally recognized and authoritative forstatistical data analysis.Results: Based on the data mining technology, there were793clauses about86books left after sifting the ancient medical literature. There were172clauses and39kinds of diseases related to the descriptions involving San Yinjiao (SP6)acupoint alone, in which the total frequency was172and14kinds of advantages diseases.There were621clauses and89kinds of diseases related to the descriptions involving SanYinjiao (SP6) acupoint with other acupoints, in which the total frequency is630and29kinds of advantages diseases.After eliminating26kinds of repetitive diseases, therewere102kinds of diseases could be treated by San Yinjiao(SP6) acupoint.Summed upacupoints, which were in high frequency,within29kinds advantage diseases involvingother acupoints.Conclusion: The results from the data mining technology systematicallydisplayed of the application on San Yinjiao(SP6) acupoint and provided with valuablereference for scientific research and clinical use. The Establishment of Data base and datamining process provided a new research model for the modern study of the acupoints.
