Objective: To explore the clinical effects and mechanism of Sword-like Needletreatment on cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome of waist and buttork. Method: Wepicked60cases and randomly divided them into treatment group and control group, andeach group contained30cases. Patients in the treatment group received the " Sword-likeNeedle" therapy, while patients in the control group received common local acupuncture ascomparison. Variations of patients in the two groups on TCM syndromes and the VASdiagram scores before and after the treatment were recorded and analysised.Result:scores of TCM symptoms and VAS diagram in treatment group decreased moreobviously than that in control group(P<0.01)." Sword-like Needle" therapy has a moreremarkable curative effects than common local acupuncture on cutaneous nerveentrapment syndrome of waist and buttork Conclusion: The " Sword-like Needle" therapyhas significant curative effects on cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome of waist andbuttork,which could be objective clinical evidences for treatment of the disease.
