| OBJECTDetecting the level of SCCA2expression in the pericarcinomatous tissues and cancer tissues of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and co-deter-minating of the levels of SCCAg while preoperation and postoperation.In order to define the relation between SCCAg and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,So as to provide the basis of diagnosis and follow-up and monitoring of esophageal cancer by the means of detecting the level of SCCAg.METHODDetect the expression of SCCA2among44cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and pericarcinomatous tissues by immuno-histochemical assay; while detect the SCCAg level of the patients by means of microsomal enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay at preoperation and three days and seven days postoperation.And then collect clinical data, analyze the relation beween the SCCA2expression in tissue,serum SCCAg level and the degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, clinical stages of squamous cell carcinoma.RESULTS1. SCCA2is expresing in squamous cell carcinoma and pericarci- nomatous tissue, the expression rates are29.55%and72.73%, which is of significant difference (P<0.01); and the espresion in high grade squamous cell carcinoma is significantly higher than that of poorly differentiated organization.And it is unrelated with depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P>0.05).2. The positive rate of SCCAg in preoperative serum was70.45%,and it is significantly lower after3days and7days after operation,and there is no relation between level of serum SCCAg expression preoperation and the degree of tumor differentiation, while closely related whit the depth of tumor invasion,lymph nodemetastasis and TNM stage (P<0.05).3. The preoperative expression of SCCAg in patients with esophageal cancer is relevant to the expression of SCCA2in cancer tissues.CONCLUSIONSCCAg is relvent to the occurrence and malignant progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. the expression of Serum SCCAg is positively correlated with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues of SCCA2.It has clinical value of the diagnosis, determine prognosis and disease monitoring of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. |
