1Objective:Through clinical trials, we can verify that in the control of active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) joint pain, medical treatment plus the role of "heating-clearing and detoxifying, promoting circulation of qi and blood, releasing swelling analgesia" anti-inflammatory analgesic cream to alleviate joint pain than a simple medical treatment has a good effect, to reduce the activity of the pain of RA patients, to provide a new therapeutic approach.2Methods:The clinical design follows with the principle of randomized, controlled, repeat and adopted double-blind methods.Included in the "Toxic Heat Accumulation and Qi stagnation blood stasis",72cases of patients with active RA pain were randomly divided into two groups (1:1),36cases of anti-inflammatory analgesic cream group, subject to the basic provisions of the medication on the use of anti-inflammatory analgesic cream, plus the placebo group in the provisions on the basis of drug use anti-inflammatory analgesic cream stimulant, i.e. placebo. The primary efficacy endpoint of all subjects(visual analogue scale (VAS pain score), joint local pain score), the secondary endpoint(total score of the joint symptoms, clinical efficacy score, the local joint selling scores, partial joints heat score, local joint redness score, flexion and extension negative score, morning stiffness score, ipsilateral grip strength,15m walking time, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate(ESR), C-reactive Protein(CRP)) to evaluate, analyze and assess the clinical signification of anti-inflammatory analgesic cream and placebo groups before and after treatment.3Results:3.1The primary efficacy endpointAs for the primary efficacy endpoint such as the VAS pain score, joint local pain score, the anti-inflammatory was better than the placebo group (P<0.05).3.2The secondary endpointAs for the total score of joint symptoms in the secondary efficacy endpoint, clinical efficacy score, anti-inflammatory analgesic cream was significantly superior to the placebo group (P<0.01).As for the local swelling score after treatment, anti-inflammatory analgesic cream and placebo groups had a more significant difference (P<0.01) than before treatment, but the difference with the placebo group showed no significant difference. To the local heat score after treatment, anti-inflammatory analgesic cream and placebo groups had significant difference compared with before treatment (P<0.01or P<0.05), but the difference with the placebo group showed no significant difference. To the local redness score after treatment, anti-inflammatory analgesic cream and placebo groups had significant difference compared with before treatment (P<0.05), but the difference with the placebo group showed no significant difference. As for the flexion and extension unfavorable score and morning stiffness score after treatment about the anti-inflammatory analgesic cream group, the treatment difference was (P<0.01or P<0.05), but compared with the placebo group there was no statistically significant. Between grip strength after treatment and before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), but compared with the placebo group there was no statistically significant. As for15m walking time after treatment, between anti-inflammatory analgesic cream and placebo group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), but compared with the placebo group there was no statistically significant. As for ESR, and CRP, in the same group, the difference was not statistically significant, so was in the difference compared with the placebo group,4Conclusions:The anti-inflammatory analgesic cream, which played the role of "heating-clearing and detoxifying, promoting circulation of qi and blood, releasing swelling analgesi", can effectively alleviate the joint pain of active period of RA. It has good local analgesic effect, safety, riches the contents of the Traditional Chinese Medicinal and provides a new way to treat RA, and has broad prospects for development.
