Life Quality And Influencing Factors Of Obstructive Sleep Apnea-hypopnea Syndrome Patients In Yanbian Area Abstract

Objective:in this paper, the author analyzes the life quality and influence factors of OSAHS patients by the questionnaire survey to the basic situation of OSAHS in Korean nationality of Yanbian and the evaluation form of QOL-OSAHS.Methods:a questionnaire survey is made for the possible78OSAHS adults who are diagnosed in Yanbian University hospital, department of otolaryngology, the content of the research involving:the basic situation of the patients; the testing of the QOL-OSAHS, obtaining every patient’ s sleeping status information by all night polysomnography sleep analyzer. The database in EXCEL for these information is built, and the author makes the general description in the spss17.0and the evaluation of their quality of life and possible influencing factor of quality of life.Results:it can be seen from the questionnaire survey to the basic situation of OSAHS in Korean nationality of Yanbian and the evaluation form of QOL-OSAHS:first of all, there is no statistical significance of the state of the OSAHS between Korean nationality and Han nationality(x2=0.038, p>0.05; statistics exists in the states of OSAHS female and male patients (x2=3.585, p<0.05), the more seriousness of the male is common while the less seriousness of female is common; statistics significance exists in the states of the OSAHS patients among those suffering combinational hypertension and those not, the proportion of the patients who suffer the combinational hypertension more seriously is high. Second, the comprehensive score of the QOL-OSAHS is an dependent variable, after analysis the dependent factor of the classification material, the results suggest:the dangerousness factor of OSAHS suffer having an affect on the quality of life has a statistical significance, which combine the hypertension (t=-2.976, p=0.004, p<0.05) and diabetes (t=-2.397, p=0.019,p<0.05); linear regression analysis of the data information and the comprehensive score of QOL-OSAHS suggest that BMI and AHI have a distinct affect on the comprehensive score. The higher the score of BMI and AHI is, the lower the comprehensive score isConclusion:firstly, to a certain extent OSAHS patients cut down the quality of patients’life on one hand. Secondly, there is no significant difference in OSAHS Illness severity and patients’life quality between Korean nationality and Han nationality, which may due to the mutual penetration and assimilation of their living habits. Third, the efficacy evaluation of OSAHS should not only be focused on the change of objective indicators, such as AHI BMI and lowest oxygen saturation and so on, but also attention should be paid to the evaluation of living situation. However, the patients’ physical, psychological and social condition should be found out, and psychological intervention reinforced, the spirit eased and the quality of life is improved.
