Objective:To analyze the relationship between the thyroid-stimulation hormone, insulin resistance and lipid metabolism. Methods:A totle of251people aged23-59yearsof the people who did a heath checkup in this hospital from May2010to August2010were included.Body mass index(BMI),blood pressure, fasting plasma glucose(FPG)andinsulin, triacylglycearo(lTG),Serum total cholestero(lCHOL) and thyroid-stimulationhormone(TSH) were measured in all subjects.HOMA-IR=FPG×FINS/22.5. Dividepeople into three groups according to the TSH:lowered TSH,normal TSH and elevatedTSH group. Divide people into two groups according to the HOMA-IR:IR group(IR>3.61) and non-IR group(IR<3.61).Result:(1)The level of TSH and FPG in IR groupis higher than non-IR group(P<0.05).(2)The HOMA-IR and level of TG、CHOL、LDL-C in elevated TSH group is higher than normal TSH group.(3)The level of TSH ishigher and higher with the increasing of age.Conclusion:(1)The level of TSH in IRgroup is higher than non-IR group.(2)The HOMA-IR in elevated TSH group is higherthan normal TSH group, which revealed that the people with elevated TSH are at higherrisk of insulin resistance.(3)The level of TSH is higher and higher with the increasing ofage, which give a suggestion that old people get high TSH level more easily。...
