Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of argatroban in the treatment of progressive cerebral infarction, and to investigate the effective treatment on progressive cerebral infarction.Method:From Jan.2011to Apr.2012in our department ward hospitalization,60cases of atherosclerotic progressive cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups:argatroban treatment group (n=30) and conventional treatment group (n=30).There are34males and26females, the age is40~75(62.68±10.23)岁.Treatment group was treated with venous argatroban and Safflower injection Conventional treatment group was given venous Safflower injection and Sodium Ozagrel. During treatment, two groups were regulated blood sugar and blood pressure, and other neurotrophic drugs treatment according to the basical diseases. NIHSS scores (main index) and improved RANKIN scores were given after treatment of14d. Adverse events were recorded in the process of treatment.Results:1.60cases were randomly divided into argatroban group and conventional group.Patients’characters, history, initial symptoms, NIHSS and improved RANKIN had no significant difference.2. The scores of NIHSS and improved RANKIN with argatroban had statistically greatly improved than the scores before curing (P<0.01).The results of ozagrel also showed a remarkable improvement in NIHSS and improved RANKIN (p<0.05).The effective rate of the two groups:The argatroban group is93.3%and the ozagrel group is76.7%.The rate of the two groups had no significant difference (p=0.220).Therapeutic evaluation of argatroban group is better than that of ozagrel group.3. During the treatment, there was no adverse reaction, such as serious hemorrhage. No one was discontinued the medicine because of adverse reaction. There was one patient showing premature ventricular contraction in ozagrel group. Their blood and urine routine test, hepatic and renal function, were all in normal state after curing. Conclusion:Argatroban could greatly improve patients’neurological symptoms. At the same time, the side effect is acceptable. In a word, argatroban is a safe and effective drug for patients with progressive cerebral infarction (PCI)...
