It’s morbidity ranks as the third most common genital tract cancer, and the death rate occupies the first place in gynecology malignant tumor. At present, many researches believe that the growth, metastasis and biological behavior of various tumors are relative to the micro vessel density (MVD). In this research, we used vascular endothelial markers CD31and CD105to detect MVD, designed to discuss the expression of CD31and CD105in epithelial ovarian tumor tissues and normal ovarian tissues, then we deduced the differences between CD31and CD105in marking the endothelial cells. This research also detected the expression of pituitary tumor-transforming gene (PTTG), integrin-linked kinase (ILK) and migration-inducing protein7(Mig-7) in epithelial ovarian tumor tissues and normal ovarian tissues, then we deduced the relationship between the expression of these antibodies and the prognosis of ovarian cancer patients.Methods:Totally76ovarian cancer specimens with complete clinical and prognostic data were collected, and using immunohistochemical method to detect CD31and CD105, and Weidner method was used to count the tumor’s MVD marked by CD31and CD105; immunohistochemical method was also used to detect PTTG, ILK and Mig-7, we used Fromowitz method to examine the results, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to analyse survival rate. We also collected20borderline ovarian tumor tissues,10benign ovarian tumor tissues and10normal ovarian tissues to be the control groups.Results:1.①CD31was expressed in both microvessels and great vessels in ovarian tumors, in normal ovarian tissues was also expressed. MVD-CD31value in ovarian cancer was significant higher than control groups. In ovarian cancer, MVD-CD31value was closely related to lymph node metastasis and histological grades(P<0.05), not related to age, histological types, tumor size, ascites and metabasis (P>0.05).②CD105was only expressed in microvessels in ovarian tumor, but normal ovarian tissues was not expressed. MVD-CD105value in ovarian cancer was significant higher than control groups. In ovarian cancer, MVD-CD105value was closely related to histological grades, ascites, metabasis and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05), not related to age, histological types and tumor size (P>0.05).③In ovarian cancer, MVD-CD31value was significant higher than MVD-CD105value (P<0.05).2. Expression of PTTG, ILK and Mig-7in ovarian cancer was significant higher than control groups (P<0.05or P<0.01). In ovarian cancer, the high expression of PTTG, ILK and Mig-7has significant difference in histological grades, ascites, metabasis and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05or P<0.01), but the expression of PTTG, ILK and Mig-7had not significant difference in age, histological types and tumor size (P>0.05). PTTG-positive group’s survival time was significantly shorter than PTTG-negative group’s (P<0.05)Conclusion:1. CD105is better than CD31in staining ovarian cancer, MVD-CD105value is closely related to the biological behavior of ovarian cancer; detection of CD105is recommended to precisely assess tumor stage, direct cancer therapy and predict prognosis.2. Expression of PTTG, ILK and Mig-7is closely related in ovarian cancer and they play important roles in the development of ovarian cancer. The three biomarkers might be the indicators for judging the biological behavior of ovarian cancer. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | epithelial ovarian cancer, CD31, CD105, MVD, PTTG, ILK, Mig-7 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
