| Background:Obesity often combined or induce a variety of endocrine and metabolic diseases. With the social and economic development, the change of diet, the improvement of labor and living conditions and traffic conditions, its incidence is rising rapidly. Recent studies have revealed adipose tissue has endocrine function, it can secrete a variety of cells and tissue factor. The occurrence and development of the majority of endocrine and metabolic diseases of obese patients is closely related to chronic inflammatory mechanism of adipose tissue. Acupuncture treatment of obesity is more and more accepted by the majority of patients because of its significant effect, its mechanism of action has also become hot spots of domestic medical research.Purpose:Observe the effect to simple obese patient’s serum levels of inflammatory factors by combining electroacupuncture with ear pressure. Combined with modern medical research to explore mechanism of acupuncture treatment of simple obesity and optimization program.Method:Fifty eight simple obese patients were randomly divided into two groups: electroacupuncture group, electroacupuncture with ear pressure group. Observe changes of various physiological and biochemical index before and after acupuncture treatment in patients(waist circumference, hip circumference, thigh circumference, the FAT%, BMI, FBG, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C, IL-6, TNF-a and CRP) for statistical analysis.Result:After treatment, waist circumference, hip circumference, thigh circumference, the FAT%, BMI, FBG, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C, IL-6, TNF-a and CRP of two groups of patients were all improved(P<0.01),which means electroacupuncture and electroacupuncture with ear pressure are both the effective treatments on simple obesity. With independent-samples T test, there was statistical significance between electroacupuncture group and electroacupuncture with ear pressure group on BMI, hip circumference, TC,IL-6and TNF-a (P<0.05). There was remarkably statistical significance between the two group on waist circumference, thigh circumference, FAT%, TG, LDL-C and CRP (P<0.01). There was no statistical significance between the two group on FBG and HDL-C. All these indicated that electro-acupuncture and laser was better than electro-acupuncture on degrading the visceral fat. There was statistical significance between the two groups grade distribution in efficacy by the Wilcoxon rank sum test. All these indicated that the efficacy of electroacupuncture with ear pressure was better than electroacupuncture on simple obesity. Conclusion:Both the electroacupuncture with ear pressure and electroacupuncture are effective treatments on simple obesity. They all can improve the patient’s physiological and biochemical indices and serum inflammatory factor, and the electroacupuncture with ear pressure group’s efficacy is better than electroacupuncture group. |
