0bjective: To investigate the relationship between plasma Lipoprotein associatedphospho1ipase A2(Lp-PLA2), High-sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP) and largeartery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke. Methods: Thirty-three patients with large artery atherosclerosis ischemic stroke wereassigned as experimental group and thirty healthy people as control group. The levels ofLp-PLA2, Hs-CRP, blood fat, Uric Acid(UA), Fibrinogen(FIB) were measured. Results: The levels of serum Lp-PLA2, Hs-CRP, Low density lipoprotein–cholesterol(LDL-C), TC, TG, UA, FIB, the incidence of hypertension were significantly increased inthe experimental group compared to the control(P<0.05); The plasma level of Lp-PLA2was negatively correlated with HDL-C(r=-0.104,p=0.027), positively corelated with TC,LDL-C and Lipoprotein-a(r=0.162, p=0.024; r=0.083, p=0.015; r=0.412, p=0.017).Conclusion: Plasma level of Lp-PLA2and Hs-CRP in patients with large arteryatherosclerosis ischemic stroke are significantly increased. Resistin participate in thepathophysiology of acute cerebral infarction process. Plasma level of Lp-PLA2iscorrelated with Plasma level of HDL-C, TC, LDL-C, Lipoprotein-a, but no corelation isfound between Plasma level of Lp-PLA2and Plasma level of Hs-CRP.
