Expression And Clinical Significance Of Ezrin And ICAM-1in Colon Carcinoma

Objective：To investigate the expression of ezrin and ICAM-1innormal Colon mucosa and colon cancer tissues,and study their correlationwith colon cancer tissues and tumor invasion and metastasis.Methods：The expression of Ezrin and ICAM-1were detected byimmunohistochemistry and Western bloting in32specimens of colon cancerand32specimens of neighboring colon tissue10cm away from the lesions.Results：The expression of Ezrin and ICAM-1in colon cancer weresignifcantly higher than in normal colon mucosa(P<0.01).The expression ofEzrin and ICAM-1were signifcantly higher in Dukes’stage C+D than inDukes’stage A+B（P<0.01），in the case with lymph node metastasis thanthose without metastasis.The expression of Ezrin and ICAM-1were positiverelated in colon cancer(P<0.01).Conclusion：Ezrin and ICAM-1are associated with the tumorgenesisand development of the colon carcinoma，and play an important role ininvasion and metastasis of colon carcinoma.
