Objective:To identify the expression of heat shock protein70-2(Hsp70-2) and14-3-3zeta in bladder urothelial carcinoma(BUC) andanalyze their clinical significance. Methods:The expression of Hsp70-2and14-3-3zeta were detectedin48specimens with pathological identified BUC collected in ourdepartment from March2010to July2011and20paracancerous tissuescollected in the same period by immunohistoch-emistry(IHC),western blotand reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).The resultswere analyzed with their clinical pathological parameters. Results:The results indicated that Hsp70-2and14-3-3zeta weremildsly or moderately expressed in paracancerous tissues, but highlyexpressed in BUC specimens (P<0.05).The expression levels werepositively correlated with pathological grade and invasion depths (P<0.05)。Positive correlation was found in the expression of Hsp70-2and 14-3-3zeta in paracancerous urothelial tissues.(r=0.516,P<0.05).Conclusion:Hsp70-2and14-3-3zeta are over-expressed in BUC,whichhave positive correlation with pathological grades and clinicalstage.Their expression is positively correlated, suggesting that they mayplay important roles in tumorigenesis and progression.
