With the rapid economic development and rising living standards, the incidence of metabolic syndrome is gradually increasing, which is a great threat to people’s health. The generation of metabolic syndrome is a slow process. Its low awareness and high morbidity and mortality seriously hampered the improvement of our people’s living standards and the living environment. It is significant to do prevention and treatment work well to improve people’s livelihood and to build a harmonious society.Metabolic syndrome is a chronic disease. It is closely linked with lifestyle, eating habits, living environments and the body’s aging. Studies have shown that the occurrence of diseases can be effectively alleviated by monitoring and early intervening various factors that can affect metabolic syndrome, thereby reducing mortality. Evaluation of the metabolic syndrome is the basis of implement of interventions. This thesis proposes a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on PCA. This method can effectively evaluate the metabolic syndrome.In traditional medical model, doctor can not be timely guidance to patients because of time and space constraints, delaying the best time for treatment. With the development of science and technology, the traditional medical model has been largely impacted. Internet can realize resource sharing, through which the imbalance of medical resources can be solved, and then the utilization of medical resources can be improved. Modern medical mode enables patients grasp their health status timely and various factors that impact health. The mortality of the metabolic syndrome is reduced by intervening predisposing factors of disease, thereby improving the prevention and treatment of metabolic syndrome.This thesis, combining with the internet technology and database technology, designed and developed the evaluation and early intervention information platform of the metabolic syndrome----the medical model of information technology, to achieve early diagnosis and intervention of the metabolic syndrome. By using this information platform, users can grasp the personal medical information, interfere with the factors that influence the metabolic syndrome, delay the occurrence of metabolic syndrome, and reduce the personal and social burden of medical costs, so as to achieve the purpose of improving people’s livelihood.The main topics in this thesis are as follows:Firstly, the thesis designed the overall architecture of the information platform of the metabolic syndrome evaluation and early intervention by analyzing the functions and performance requirements. It put forwards that the system architecture is made of several modules---login interface, user management, diagnostic information queries, health assessment and comprehensive database management. It clarified the function of each module and the operation process of the system.Secondly, this information platform designed three access modes:doctor, patient, administrator. The function of doctor mode is to realize the management of patient disease; the function of patient mode is t realize the evaluation and early intervention of the metabolic syndrome; the function of administrator is to maintain the system and add doctor.Thirdly, according to the pathogenesis and assessment criteria at home and abroad of the metabolic syndrome, the index system of evaluating the metabolic syndrome is founded by electing the factors that influences the metabolic syndrome as evaluation indexes.Fourthly, considering the traditional evaluation methods are too subjective, this thesis presents a metabolic syndrome fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on principal component analysis. The method firstly deals with the historical data that impact the indexes of metabolic syndrome to obtain the weight of each index by using PCA; then it evaluates each index to get the human health score by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, thus providing an objective basis for the early effective intervention.Fifthly, according to the architecture of the information platform, this thesis designed and developed each functional module by using technologies, such as ASP.NET, ADO.NET and database in the Visual Studio2008and SQL server2005environment.Based on the above research results, the thesis gives an instance of how the information platform of the metabolic syndrome evaluation and the early intervention running, summarize the whole thesis and prospects the future research in this direction.
