| Objective:To explore the impact of Phloroglucinol on endometrial Negative Wave and Pregnancy outcome.Method:135infertile women had accepted in vitro fertilization/intr a-cytoplasmic sperm injection embryo transplantation (IVF/ICSI-ET) fr-om May to October in2011at our center. The endometrial peristalsis wav-es were observed in135infertile women,3times by transvaginal ultraso-nography on the day before transplantation, at the morning, afternoon an-d the next morning respectively. On the day before transplantation, there were56cases shown visible signs of negative waves,56patients were ra-ndomly divided into experimental group of27patients, and a Control gro-up of29. There were42cases showed no negative waves on ultrasound e-xaminations, which called the no negative wave group. The rest37cases were excluded. The luteal support was given after ovum pick-up in all gr-oups. On the day before transplantation the experimental group was treat-ed with phloroglucinol intravenous infusion, and then compared the imp-act of phloroglucinol on the endometrial negative wave, Clinical pregna-ncy rate, abortion rate and ectopic pregnancy rate between the experiment-al group and Control group. Results:the incidence of Negative wave was41%(56/135).74%of the experimental group shown the disappearance of negative wave, the d- ecreasing rate is26%, compared with34%ã€21%Control group, which had st-atistically significant (P<0.05);the No negative wave group’s clini-cal pr-egnancy rate was83%, which was significantly higher than that of the e-xperimental group’s rate of56%and the Control group’s rate of48%had the statistically significant (P<0.0125); but there were no signifi-cant difference between the experimental group and the Control group; while the abortion and ectopic pregnancy rates in three groups were not st-atistically different (P>0.05).Conclusion:The negative peristaltic wave of the endometrium may beone of the reasons for the failure of IVF/ICSI-ET. The phloroglucinol inhibit the endometrial negative peristaltic wave significantly, without sta-tistical difference in pregnancy outcome. |
