Objective: To study the gestational diabetes and to the influence of maternal and infantperinatal outcome, in order to further strengthen the GDM perinatal management toprovide important clinical evidence.Methods: A comparative study of120cases of GDMpatients were enrolled in The First Teaching Hospital Of Xinjiang Medical Universityfrom January2011to December2011,and120pregnant women without GDM of the sameperiod from the same hospital were enrolled as control.and their clinical course and theending of maternal and infant were retrospectively analyzed. Results: To compare GDMgroup with the control group:respectively96.7%cesarean section (116cases) vs81.7%(98cases), pregnancy hypertension disease (18cases)15.0%vs5%(6cases), macrosomia19.2%(23cases) vs6.7%(8cases), premature birth41.7%(5cases) vs10.8%(13cases),,amniotic fluid pollution4.2%(5cases) vs12.5%(15cases), neonatal suffocation10%(12cases) vs3.3%(4cases) two significantly different group, P<0.01or P<0.05. The ageof pregnant women between the two groups was statistically difference (P<0.05), andGDM group women were older than the control group.Between the two groups ofintrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, excessive amniotic fluid, the bleeding after delivery,premature birth, fetal distress is no statistical difference, P>0.05.Conclusion: Gestationaldiabetes have definite influence on the maternal,fetal and infant,accordingly,enhancementof the screening and potent management of pregnancy,including early detection and wellcontrol of blood glucose,is of great importance in reducing complications to maternal andinfant.
