All the time, heart disease is one of the most dangerous disease threat our human health,the diagnosis and prevention of it becomes a major problem for medical community. ECGsignal which can make a reference for its diagnosis and treatment is such a kind of typicalbiological signal, it can reflect the cardiac physiological state from different aspects and levels,so the acquisition and analysis of it will have an important value for its clinical diagnosisand treatment.Presently, much technology and equipments are used to acquire and analysis theelectrocardiogram of ECG signal. But because of their processing capacity, volume, cost,power consumption etc. they are still unsatisfactory for us. Thus, designing one kind of aportable; intelligent ECG monitoring system has important significance.In this paper, one portable ECG analysis system is designed based onTMS320VC5509A.after a series of systematic study in depth of basic theory of ECG signal;DSP technology; self-adaptive filter theory and applications and C++, this paper select ahigh performance TMS320VC5509A processor as its central processing unit to design a ECGsignal acquisition system; a ECG signal processing system based on TMS320VC5509A and aECG signal management system based on PC.The pre-stage acquisition and regulation system of ECG signal includes: input protectioncircuit, pre-amplifier and right-leg drive circuit, band-pass filter circuit,50Hz limiting wavecircuit, main amplifier and voltage lifting circuit and power supply circuit, The ECG signalprocessing system mainly comprises a power supply circuit, A/D conversion circuit,memory expansion circuit and the serial port communication circuit, which aims to completethe acquisition of ECG signal; digital filtering as well as transmission. The ECG signalprocessing system which based on PC aims to design an ECG signal analysis system by VC++, it can realize analysis and processing ECG signal about its read; display; storage andplayback.Software system is based on the CCS integrated development environment and uses Clanguage to program, select the modular programming way. Its main program uses calls andorganizations statements to contact each other subroutine so that the whole system can workcoordinate. Subroutine includes system initialization program, ADC program, digital signalprocessing program, PC applications program etc. the key part is the digital signal processingalgorithms, Judging this algorithm is suitable or not mainly depends on the precision of thewhole system and the performance of the real time. This system, firstly, uses MATLABlanguage to simulate the standard ECG signal by the algorithm of digital signal processing,then using the mixed programming way of C language and assembly language to realize thesignal processing algorithm, so that it can suppress noise and interference effectively. After the simulation and field test, the ECG monitoring system based onTMS320VC5509A in this paper can successfully acquire; transmit, store and display ECGsignal, it can also execute simple analysis and processing about ECG signal.
