Now Patch-clamp technique has become a major field of electrophysiologicaltechniques. It has close contact with the disciplines such as Molecular Biology, CellBiology, Molecular Genetics, Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacology, and so on. Thedirection of Patch-clamp system on the leading international is to high-throughput,industrialization and fully automated. The first high-throughput automated patch-clampsystem with48channels in the world is the QPatch HT system which is produced by theSophion Company,Danmark. It can record250to1200data object every day. Currentlywe are using the PC2C patch-clamp amplifier, accompanying UDA-1type/UDA-2type data acquisition system, and patch-clamp system control software PClamp4.0. Mymain work is designing and optimizing the applications on the basis of patch-clamp systemcontrol software PClamp4.0. This paper discusses the modules and the characteristicsand advantages of the UDA-2type data acquisition system, and detailedimplementation of each module.This paper discusses the structure of the patch-clamp system, the software andhardware. Secondly it discusses the framework for the application kernel, and thefeatures of stimulation waveform generator module, sending stimulating waveform dataand acquisition module, data processing module, port knob control module, also therelationship between each module. This paper shows the details of the implementationprocess of modules witch base on UDA-2data acquisition system.There are several problems during commissioning the application: the methods ofcompliant UDA-1type and UDA-2type data acquisition system, the data waveformdisplay glitch and compile error during debugging. After analyzing the reasons ofthese errors,taking out the corresponding solution. At last, this paper makes thesummary and the future prospects.
