Purpose:To investigate the correlation between cerebrovascular reserve capacity and progressive cerebral infarction through a perspective clinical study.Method:The hospitalized patients in The Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical College, Division of cerebrovascular intervention during January2010to June2010were chosen as the studies. These patients with acute cerebral infarction cerebrovascular reserve capacity were obtained within24hours. All the patients were given the same treatment. Then they are divided into progressive group and non-progressive group. T-test analyzes the differences in cerebrovascular reserve capacity between these two groups, and Spearman’s rho analyzes the correlation between cerebrovascular reserve capacity and progressive cerebral infarction.Result:The cerebrovascular reserve capacity has significant difference in the two groups (t=10.176, p<0.001). The cerebrovascular reserve capacity has negative correlation with the progressive cerebral infarction (r=-0.805, p<0.001)Conclusion:The descent of the cerebrovascular reserve capacity is an independent risk factor of the progressive cerebral infarction.
