Analyze The Correlation Between The Cognitive Function And Physical Function For The Patients With Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)

Objectives:Analyze and compare the baseline correlation and correlation of rates of change over time between the cognitive function (ADAS_cog and MMSE) and physical function (DAD) for patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Method:Analyze the baseline correlation between cognitive function and physical function for patients with mild to moderate AD. Use ordinary least square and mixed model to estimate the rates of change over time in cognitive function and physical function separately among patients with mild to moderate AD. Correlation analysis was conducted between these rates of change (ADAS_Cog and DAD, MMSE and DAD), and correlation analysis was further conducted after stratifying the estimated rates of change by potential risk factors.Main results:The cognitive function is related to the physical function at baseline. The rate of change over time in cognitive function is related to the rate of change over time in physical function.
