On the view of Prevalence, the morbidity of type II DM is increasing, and theage of suffering patients younger and younger year after year worldwide.Nevertheless, the main reason which caused the DM due to the dysfunction or lostfunction of β cells in Langerham islets in Pancreas which resulted of unable to secretor poor secret on Insulin. But the potential factors which resulted in the abnormalityor dysfunction to theβ cells in Langerham islets in Pancreas are pretty complicated, many acquired factors like:diet, habits of living, drugs using.,etc except congenitalinherited factors.More and more research reveals those above mentioned potentialfactors have the relationship which will cause DM or make it worsen directly orindirectly, those factors also make the blood sugar control more difficult, and worth ofpay more attention for us.Generally,Diabetes is divided into two categories named type I&II DMrespectively. Type I DM also known as Insulin dependent DM which occurs mostly inyounger generation and related to inheritage, most of this typed patients suffers fromhigher blood sugar ranges and beyond controlled except Insulin and hence themortality of the complications of this type DM is higher, there is almost noappropriate treatment at the moment.ObjectiveType II DM also known as non-insulin dependent DM,the etiology of this kinddisease mostly occurs due to the acquired factors, the elders easily suffer from thiskind DM. But recent years, the younger patients have the tendancy suffer-ing fromthis type DM. Very unfortunately, more and more this typed patients can not becontrolled depend merely on oral hypoglycemic drugs,or diet control,or both ofthem,or add on routine exercise or good living habits although this kind DM isnon-insulin dependent DM.In fact, more and more younger patients suffering fromthis kind DM,and more and more this types DM patients rely on Insulin injection tocontrol the blood sugar. Most of blood sugar beyond controlled patients suffering fromvision losing, and or permanent hemo dialysis or peritoneal dialysis is required, finally vascular and tissue necrosis due to poor healing of wound, amputation andother complications caused which severely influence the living or even life lastly.MethodsThis research uses the mode of questionnaire which choosing the OPD type IIDM patients in Yuen-San Branching Hospital of Taipei General Veterans Hospital,298voluntary patients were chosen randomly according to the variations of age, sex, educational background, timing of suffering, good or worse of diet control, bodyweight, routine exercise,drinking.,etc.According to the principles of Statistics, those above mentioned factors weretreated as dependent variables, better or not of blood sugar controlling wereindependent variables, and confirm these clinically most seen influential factors couldactually had the real actions to the control of blood sugar through the multipleregression analysis.ResultsThe conclusion of this research according to the results of statistic analysiswere:in the all298effective samples, all the recent3month blood sugar range in thenormal range(good blood sugar control)had27cases,9.1%to the all samples; allthe recent3month blood sugar range occasionally over the normal range(near goodblood sugar control)had80cases,26.8%to the all samples; most of the recent3month blood sugar range over the normal range(poor blood sugar control)had191cases,64.1%to the all samples. The result reveals,to the all298cases researchinggroup regardless the following dependent variables of sex, age, educationalbackground, length of morbidity, follow the instructed diet by nutritionist or not, whether the recent3month body weight over, drinking history of the recent3month,routine exercise to the recent3month,almost60%cases were under the statusof poor blood sugar control, only near10%cases belong to the status of good bloodsugar control, that means there still a great space to improve to the blood sugar controlof the type II DM patients.Besides, the research reveals only5cases(1.7%to the allcases)taking the daily3diets completely follow the instruction of nutritionist;11.2%cases didn’t follow any instructed daily3diets by nutritionist;87.2%cases occasionally followed the instructed daily3diets by nutritionist, which reveal reachto88.4%cases almost ignored, didn’t cooperated to the health education andinstructed diets,it deserves to research more details about why so high ration ofincooperation.Meanwhile, noted by the recent3month body weight of all cases, highration of87.6%to the all cases5-10%over the normal body weight;12.4%of themover than10-15%of the normal body weight, very funny closed ration reveals87.6%of the all cases over the normal body weight,and88.4%of all cases ignored anddidn’t follow the DM diet instructions, there must had the closed relation between thetwo similar percentage.Conclusions(1) Drinking habits was screened as the prominent variation according to theresults of analysis, drinking over four or five days was the risk factor(P<0.05)whichinfluence the elevation of blood sugar;(2) the normal body weight of type II DM hasthe negative relative tendancy with the elevation of blood sugar(P<0.05).
