Purposes:Estimating Anterior Cervical Decompression Combine with Bone Grafting and Titanium Plate Fixation with needle therapy for Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy effects and observing the differences between the operation group and operation group with acupuncture in postoperation, besides investigating how the acupunctur to recover the spinal cord function mechanism in postoperation of Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy Subjects:Cases were chosen from the hospitalization patients of the Fuzhou General Hospital. The whole experiment lasted from July,2011to July,2012. All patients mate the surgical access standards since they were in strict accordance with low Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy criteria for eligible cases.The60patients were randomly devided into two groups by the single-blind control method. They are experimental group(operation with acupuncture group)and contrast group(only operation),They were thoroughly observed after operation on the first week, the second week, the third week, the third month, and the half year in the follow-up time. The total observation time added up to half a year. They were evaluated by Electromyogram, Criteria of diagnosis and therapeutic effect of TCM and JOA score system for Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy, Preoperative and postoperative JOA score of3days. On the other side, comparisons were made among the age, sex, course of disease,Cervical lesion segment and the assessment score after operation on the first week, the second week, the third week, the third month, and the half year to observe the differences JOA score, Electromyogram, Criteria of diagnosis and therapeutic effect of TCM between two groups. Results:There is no significant differences about Balance comparison between the two groups of patients in age, sex, course of disease and Cervical lesion segment score(p>0.05).there are comparable between the two groups. There are statistical differences between the two groups after operation of third week, sixth month and third month in JOA scores, Electromyogram, Criteria of diagnosis and therapeutic effect of TCM(p<0.05).Conclusions:Anterior Cervical Decompression Combined with Bone Grafting and Titanium Plate Fixation with needle can promote the function of spinal cord after the operation for patient with Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy and improve clinical symptoms, To improve the clinical efficacy and the quality of life for patient.
