Objectives:To discuss the long term prognosis and relative factors of Guillain-Barrsyndrome(GBS) in2~7years.To identify the indicator of bad-prognosis so that to provide thebasis for clinical diagnosis.Method:We analysis the original data of200GBS patients admitted to the department ofNeurology in the First hospital of Jilin University during Apr,2005to Apr,2010.Followed bytelephone,we recruit69patients,it is indicated that2~7years later,Patients suffer from motorfunction deficiency, sensory function deficience, fatigue, autonomic nerve symptom, andinfluence of life style,as well as work.Meanwhile we also retrospectively analysis the clinicaltraits of the patients.According to the treatments and prognosis,we divide the patients intothree groups, mild type, medium type, gravs type.Results:(1)In the residual neurological symptoms of GBS,there is at least aninvolvement of the autonomic nervous function in81%of patients.Palpitations, diarrhea, sweating abnormalities are more common.Male is more common than female.(2)The residualmotor function is significant in the long prognosis of GBS,72.46%with ODSS,55.07%withHuges.The factors affect motor function are total hospital stays, the respiratory muscleparalysis, the tracheotomy,Respirator assisted ventilation, the disease patterns, the coarse ofdisease, the Huges scores at peak, and the treatments.(3)56.5%of GBS patients complainfatigue. The factors affect FSS are the total hospital stays, the respiratory muscle paralysis, thetracheotomy,Respirator assisted ventilation, the disease patterns, the coarse of disease, theHuges scores at peak.(4)47.8%of patients complain sensory function deficience.(5)GBSexerts a prominent effect on the life style of patients.59.42%patients have to change theirleisure patterns,34.78%have to change their job. Conclusion:(1)The residual motor deficiency of GBS in long term are prominent.(2)Themain reason of disability in long term prognosis are fatigue.(3)The residual autonomicsymptoms are obvious.(4)The residual sensory deficience is huge.(5)GBS exerts a prominenteffect on the life style of patients.
