Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with clinical conventional treatment of Western medicine cold-dampness blockage type rheumatoid arthritis improvement. Methods:a random number table and controlled experimental design method,100patients were divided into treatment group and control group, each group of50cases. The control group treated by routine western medicine, oral celecoxib capsules, leflunomide tablets; the treatment group in the oral celecoxib capsules, leflunomide tablets based on, combined with warm acupuncture treatment,20days for a treatment, a total of one course of treatment. Observed two groups of analogue score in the efficacy of TCM, TCM clinical symptom score, visual (VAS), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) changes, while observing the alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (Cr) changes etc. index to check its safety. Results:50patients in the treatment group, the clinical cure in20cases (40%), effective in19cases (38%), effective in9cases (18%), invalid in2cases (4%), the total efficiency of96%; control group of50patients, clinical cure in15cases (30%),10cases (20%), effective12cases (24%), invalid in13cases (26%), the total efficiency of74%. Compare two groups of curative effect, the rank sum test, Z=-7.557, P=0.000, P<0.05, the effect of the treatment group was better than control group. TCM clinical symptom score the two groups after treatment than before treatment in this group were lower (P<0.05), a statistically significant difference after treatment in the treatment group compared with control group differences (P<0.05), the treatment group than the control group. VAS the two groups after treatment than before treatment in this group were lower (P<0.05), a statistically significant difference after treatment in the treatment group compared with control group differences (P<0.05), the treatment group than the control group. ESR the two groups after treatment than before treatment in this group were lower (P<0.05), no statistically significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment difference (P>0.05). CRP the two groups after treatment than before treatment in this group were lower (P<0.05), no statistically significant difference between the2groups before and after treatment difference (P>0.05). The two groups in the alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (Cr) were no significant difference and other safety indicators, prompting security curative effect of two group. Conclusion:acupuncture and moxibustion has better clinical curative effect to the conventional western medicine treatment of cold-dampness blockage type rheumatoid arthritis.
