ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of the Point of persuationmethod with rou and bo the pain point massage of lumbar discherniationMethodsAccording to Issued by the China administration of traditionalChinese medicine of traditional Chinese medicine disease diagnosiscurative standard "diagnostic criteria of the lumbarintervertebral disc protrusion,Wuhan Hospital of the outpatient and inpatient massage in Sep2009~Feb2013massage of100patientsof lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion included in the study. Allcases were randomly divided into massage group(massage withtraction) and acupuncture group （Regular acupuncture）, every50cases in each group.Massage time and frequency of the two groupsare the same, Once a day，take6days as a course,and rest onceevery6days,to observe2courses. Observe clinical efficacy ofevery group, and used the main clinical symptoms and signs aftermassage integral criteria to assess the curative effect of twogroups before and after massage.Results100patients,96patients completed the whole course of massage,4patients dropped out.1.The comparison of the efficacy:Before massage，comparison thesex, age, illness and disease duration，no significant difference（P＞0.05），Illustrate the comparability between the two groups.Efficiency of the massage groups was100%, acupuncture group was97.6%.No difference, Instructions for the disease, the twogroups of massage effect. but comparison the effective rate of themassage group（96.60%） with the acupuncture group（90.11%）,therewere difference significant.Shows the efficiency of the massagegroup was better than the acupuncture group.2.Comparison of pain scores: Massage group and acupuncturegroup before massage the pain points of comparison,no significantdifference（P=0.138＞0.05）, Illustrate the comparability betweenthe two groups.Massage group after massage of pain and massagebefore the integral comparison, there were significant differences(P=0.001＜0.05)；The acupuncture group after massage of pain pointscomparing with before massage,there were significant differences（P=0.001＜0.05）, Massage group and acupuncture group therapy canrelieve the pain of lumbar disc prolapse.
