| ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of phacomulsification combined with goniosynechialysis in the management of acute angle closure glaucoma with cataract.Methods37patients(44eyes)were treated with phacomulsification combined with goniosynechialysis. The visual acuity, intraocular pressure, optometry, visual field, angle opening distance(AOD500),central anterior chamber depth were observed.ResultsThe patients were followed up for3to6months after surgery, the best corrected visual acuity was improved in37of46eyes. The mean anterior chamber depth was2.184±0.284mm preoperatively and2.184±0.284mm postoperatiVely(t=11.260,p<0.01). Compared with the eyes before surgery, totally46eyes AOD500have been enlarged after surgery. The intraocular pressure of44eyes after surgery were also significantly decreased, the mean intraocular pressure was23.667±4.852mmHg preoperatively and14.533±3.730mmHg(t=-10.824, p<0.01) postoperatively. There was no significant statistical difference between postoperative residual refractive and preoperative expectations, but the absolute value of the difference between them is3.386±0.2661D.35patients(44eyes)did not show significant visual field change three motnes after operation.ConclusionsThe management of acute angle closure glaucoma by phacomulsification combined with goniosynechialysis is safe and effective. |
