| Objectives The study aimed to investigate the changes of right ventricular systolic function and modality before and after Transcatheter closure of atrial septal defect(ASD) by single beat real time dimensional echocardiogarphy (SRT-3DE). Methods The study compared the results of the two groups of participants, namely the ASD group and the control group.IEDVRVã€IESVRV〠ISVRVã€and RVEF of all subjects were measured by single beat real time dimensional echocardiogarphy (SRT-3DE) before the transcatheter closure. The relationship of right ventricular parameters of ASD group with systolic pulmonary artery pressure (PASP) and mean pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PAMP) were observed.RVEDA,RVESA.RVFAC.3D-RVEDV.3D-RVESV and3D-RVESV of ASD group, which were measured in6months before and after the occlusion, were compared with the RVEF of NOR group and pulmonary light-medium-severe systolic blood pressure group in ASD group. Results IEDVRV,IESVRV,ISVRV and RVEF were greater in the ASD group than in controls (P<0.05), IEDVRV and IESVRV had positive relation with PAMP and PASP (P<0.05). In open ASD. RVEDA. RVESA. RVFAC.3D-RVEF were significantly higher than control group and decreased significantly after6months closure (P<0.05).In addition, in the ASD group RVEF of light-moderate pulmonary hypertension increased than the control group(P<0.05). RVEF of severe pulmonary hypertension decreased than the control group and mild pulmonary hypertension (P<0.05).Conclusion The single beat real time three dimensional echocardiography is a new technology which can assess right ventricular modality and function quickly and accurately and indirectly determined the pressure of the pulmonary without wound, and has an important value on the quantitative assessment of ASD patients’ right ventricular function before and after transcatheter closure. |
