Clinical Significance Of The Atypical Lymphocyte Directed By Sysmex XE-2100Automatic Hematology Analyzer

Objective:Microscope review the atypical lymphocyte samples selected by Sysmex XE-2100.further discuss atypical lymphocyte typing and its clinical significance.Methods:Screen blood samples by Sysmex XE-2100and obtain263samples which contains atypical lymphocyte by sample selection. According to the clinical inspection procedures,make blood smears and stain the smears,classify the atypical lymphocyte and anaylse the results.Results:1. Microscopic examination of Atypical lymphocytesIn the263specimens of re-examination,22cases did not find the atypical lymphocyte,14cases is also white blood cells don’t classification;28cases only appear type I,123cases type Ⅱ,2cases typeⅢ,53cases with type I and type Ⅱ simultaneously appear,20cases with type II and typeⅢ,6cases with type I and typeⅢ,9cases of type Ⅰ-Ⅲ.2.The microscope detection rate of atypical lymphocytes and disease diagnosisType I appeared in96cases, the detection rate is39.83%, appeared in the following diseases:diabetes (12cases), kidney disease (8cases), congenital heart disease (6cases), obstructive jaundice (4cases), pneumonia (4cases), the system lupus erythematosus (3cases), rheumatic heart disease (3cases), cerebral hemorrhage (2cases), epistaxis (2cases); type Ⅱ in205cases, the detection rate is85.06%. appeared in the following diseases:malignant tumors (22cases), congenital heart disease (14cases), coronary heart disease (13cases), diabetes (11cases), kidney disease (10cases), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (8cases), pancreatitis (6cases), hepatitis B cirrhosis (5cases). obstructive jaundice (5cases), systemic lupus erythematosus (4cases), pneumonia (4cases):type Ⅲ in37cases, the detection rate is15.35%. appeared in the following diseases:coronary heart disease (4cases), systemic erythematosus (2cases). postoperative radiotherapy of cancer(2cases).Conclusion:1. when the Atypical Lymphocyte directed by the hematology analyzer,we should carry out the mannual microscopic examination.2. This study suggests that after review the direction rate of type Ⅱ atypical lymphocyte is the highest followed by type Ⅰ, type Ⅲ is the lowest;3. Type Ⅱ atypical lymphocytes is higher correlation with the disease.
