| As social development gradually accelerated and more negative socialfactors, people live in increasing pressure, they are vulnerable to anxiety. Thereare more and more researches about anxiety, we also want to study it. In thispaper, in terms of the behavior and ERPs study, we mainly discuss anxietythrough the construction of the Chinese version the Implicit Association-Anxietytest (including two present form: Inquisit3.0version and STIM2version), and thecombination with explicit measure (using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory) tomeasure the anxiety status of the college students. Therefore, this study has somepractical significance; meanwhile, the construction of Chinese version ImplicitAssociation-Anxiety test also provides a reference for future research. This paper is mainly divided into two parts. The first one is the constructionof Chinese version Implicit Association-Anxiety test, which is based on thecommon Implicit Association Test paradigm. To explore the feasibility of theformed IAT-Anxiety and behavior difference through the implicit perspective, the148college students were measured by explicit measure questionaires (including State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Profile of State Mood States) and41weremeasured by IAT-Anxiety. The second one is the construction of Chinese version(STIM~2version) Implicit Association-Anxiety test, which was used in the study tostudy the brain components characteristics and neural mechanism issues of27subjects in the cognitive Lab.Through the above study, the mainly results were found as following, thefirst part:(1) The internal consistency reliability of the Chinese version implicitassociation test was0.78, and the discrimination validity was0.26.(2) The mean RTs for the congruent blocks (M=720.70, SE=22.83) weresignificantly lower than those for incongruent blocks (M=899.52, SE=24.56), F(1,37)=63.35, P <0.001.(3) The IAT D effect was also calculated, a t-test showed a significantdifference between the low trait anxiety group (M=-0.35, SD=0.31) and thehigh trait anxiety group (M=-0.58, SD=0.28), t (37)=2.42, P <0.05, Cohen’sd=0.78.The second part:(1) As to the response time, paired sample t-test was conducted, and itrevealed a significant effect between the congruent blocks (M=612.12, SE=28.04) and incongruent blocks (M=655.55, SE=31.92), t (17)=-3.26, P <0.01.(2) For the components N1, P2, there were no significant main effect andsignificant interactions for condition (all P>0.1), but there were significant maineffects for sites, F(4,68)=11.49, P <0.001, η~2=0.403. The results of P2weresimilar to N1, F(4,68)=6.114, P <0.001, η~2=0.265.(3) For the N400component, there were significant main effects for both thecondition (F(1,17)=6.347, P <0.05, η~2=0.272.) and the site (F(4,68)=5.491, P <0.05, η~2=0.244).(4) For the LPP component, a significant main effect for condition wasobserved, F(1,17)=5.452, P <0.05, η~2=0.243. In the further simple effectanalysis, we found that there were significant effects in site Cz (F(1,17)=9.97,P <0.05), and CPz (F(1,17)=5.21, P <0.05).The main conclusions of this study as follows:The construction of Chinese version IAT-Anxiety has good reliability andvalidity. We supply the better measure method for anxiety, from the implicitperspective, and the measure is more accurate. In the combination study withERPs, to explore the neural basis of anxiety, we found the characters of braincomponents, such as N400, LPP, etc., between congruent blocks and incongruentblocks. The study set a good foundation for further study of anxiety disorderspatients varied in different ages and types. |
