| School violence refers to all the behavior that make physical, psychological andproperty harm or therat to others at the school. For the physical and mental is in thefast-growing young students, school violence is not only bring them direct physicalharm, but also easy to bring them psychological trauma. Young students are the futureof our country, strengthen the research about school violence, it can help to deepen ourunderstanding of school violence in the special background of information, network,social transformation and ideas severe fluctuations, it has important guiding value notonly for the prevention of juvenile delinquency, but also will enrich the psychologicaltheory of adolescent mental and behavioral development.In this study, we make the theoretical concept of school violence based onliterature review and open questionnaire. It prepare the young students school violence’squestionnaire with good reliability and validity which contain a sub-questionnaire ofphysical violence and a sub-questionnaire of phychological violence, then make asurvey of4213young students with the questionnaire in order to study theircharacteristics of school violence, and analyse the relationship between physicalviolence and psychological violence. Then, the experiments of the38young studentswith different levels of physical violence and32young students with different levels ofpsychological violence in the completion of the difficulty of learning tasks, to furtherexplore the impact of school violence on young students. Finally, through in-depthinterviews with young students of the four different level of school violence, to furtherverify the validity of the foregoing findings.The main conclusions obtained in this studyare as follows:①School violence is a multi-layer and multi-dimension system, which includingphysical violence and psychological violence. Physical violence which consist of fivedimensions such as bullies, body violence, tools violence, sexual violence and suicide.Psychological violence which consist of four dimensions such as language attack,pressure builds, interpersonal attack and network violence.②There are significant differences between gender, school properties, whether theyare the only child, the students’ land, grade, academic result and puppy love in thephysical and psychological violence.③In the prediction of physical violence, seven variables which gender, school properties, whether they are the only child, the students’ land, grade, academic resultand puppy love have significant predictive power; In the prediction of psychologicalviolence, foue variables which gender, the students’ land, academic result and puppylove have significant predictive power except grade, whether they are the only child andschool properties.④There is a significant positive correlation between physical violence andpsychological violence of the young students, there is a certain synergy between thetwo.⑤There were significant differences between persistence of yong students withdifferent level of school violence when they complete the difficult task of learning. Thelearning behavior persistence of young students with high level of physical andpsychological violence were significantly worse than young students with low level ofphysical and psychological violence.⑥The respondents of the different level of school violence are different, thisdifference is mainly in the frequency and attitudes.⑦The questionnaire of young students’ violence have good reliability and validity.This study used a variety of methods and made a preliminary exploration of youngstudents in the new era of school violence from the two levels of physical violence andpsychological violence, it can help us take a more comprehensive and profoundunderstanding of young students school violence, provide reference for young studentsschool violence intervention. |
