Research On Modern Chinese Same Morphemes Words

The so-called Modern Chinese Same Morphemes Words are compound words,not only the same word formation morpheme and morphemes in the same order, buttheir meaning are different. In this paper, on the basis of summing up the results ofprevious studies, through exhaustive statistic of same morphemes words in“ModernChinese Dictionary”《现代汉语词典》（2005 addition）, a word database wasestablished . Based on 329 same morphemes words in this paper, the researchboundary of same morphemes word was defined through comprehensive usage ofresearch methods. Furthermore, classified description was also given in detail atdeep level from word-formation, word-making and the morpheme-definedrelationship, then we can summarized some regular features.The first chapter introduces the research status of Modern Chinese SameMorphemes, and pointed out that value of this study, the scope of the study andresearch methods.In the second chapter, the research boundary of same morphemes word wasdefined. Modern Chinese Same Morphemes was to identify further throughmorphemes and word identity and reparability. Distinguish the Modern Chinese SameMorphemes and the type of modern Chinese words and other Chinese vocabulary.Chapter 3 was on the analysis of Modern Chinese Same morphemes words.According to the grammatical structure, the same morphemes words were divided intotwo categories, which were element with the same morphological and heterogeneouswith the prime word. The proportion of categories was different, but the type ofmodern Chinese words contains all categories.The chapter 4 classified descriptions about word-making of same morphemeswords. The same morphemes words were divided into two categories, which weresame word-making and different word-making. The same word-making of samemorphemes words contains 276 groups, includes five categories: Help Law, two-tonemethod, Analogy, Extension Method and Abbreviated Law. The different word-making contains 54 groups. As for such complicated situations, this paperalso gave some description in detail.In the chapter 5, this paper analyses of the relationship between meaning on theword and the morphemes meaning. Although the same factors with the morphemesword words in the same morphemes, but constitute the meaning of the morphemejustice is not necessarily the same. There are three types of relationship betweenMorpheme meaning and meaning of a word. First, the morpheme righteousness directrepresentation of meaning; the second is direct but some said that meaning; finally,morphemes meaning and the meaning of the contact is indirect, morpheme justiceindirectly expressed meaning.For now, the academic study of the same morphemes words is rarely, there is noclearly put forward the concept of "the same morphemes words". Therefore, it hasthe important research significance that research Modern Chinese Same morphemeswords. This article is only a preliminary interpretation, a more detailed analysis to bediscusses later.
