A Study On Exiles In Xinjiang And Their Literature In Qian And Jia Period

Qianlong and Jiaqing period, especially Qianlong period, are the heydays of feudal society. However, dangers also hidden everywhere. For example, the imperial power was further strengthened; the emperor arrogated executive powers, vigorously implementing the policy of "social control"; the frequently introduced autocratic policy resulted in a great amount of people being exiled, of which the spiritual space and literature creation were profoundly affected. Based on the political, ideological and cultural background of Qianlong and Jiaqing, this essay makes a discussion on the living conditions and special mentality of exiles in Xinjiang. Besides, literal characteristics and values of typical exiles are taken in.The introduction focus on the topic-selecting as well as the current situation of the research, thus explains the significance and innovation of the research.The body of the essay includes four chapters.The first chapter comprehensively analyzes the political environment of exiles in the period of Qian&Jia and summarizes the phenomenon of exiles under such political circumstances.The second chapter verifies the situation of people being exiled under such coercion ecology of Qian&Jia, and examines the influence of political environment to exile and their literature which have been collated for offering some factual evidence to clearly know the exile ways and to support the next chapter.On basis of the ecological and political environment of the north-west in Qian&Jia, the third chapter analyzes their living conditions and mental impact of helpless, depression and fear from their experiences, which reflects their suffering and trauma in that particular period.Taking some representative writers as examples based on the exploration of mentality transverse, the essay deeply analyzes and relates the literal characteristics of exiles in the last chapter. Besides, exiles of Qian&Jia and the value of the current literature are taken into discussion.
