| The most important part of Chinese language textbook for Korean high school studentsas a direct parameter is needed to meet the educational goals by intriguing Chinese learner’sinterests to get their best effect of education. Even it is rare to find the analysis of textbooksabout learner’s needs so far, the content of Chinese textbooks should reflect the needs oflearners.To meet these educational needs, a comparative analysis of six types of Chinesetextbooks and its survey results from Korean high school students are used to suggest its bestway to move forward.In chapter1and2of this paper, we will take a close look into the needs and the methodsof this study, important role of textbook in Chinese language learning, also by comparing ’the7th National Curriculum ’and ’2007revised curriculum’ which is the basic guidelines of thetextbook we will be given main characteristics of ‘Korea Institute Curriculum and Chinesesubjects’.In chapter3, six kinds of high school textbooks which are currently being used in Koreaare compared and analyzed into two broad categories which are ‘construction structure’,‘content structure’. In the part of ‘Construction structure’ examined each of the book type andauthors configuration, appendix configuration, the configuration section of the textbookillustrations in detail.Six big categories of each book-listening, reading, speaking, writing, culture, theme andtopic were used for analysis in ’Content structure’.In addition, survey about Chinese textbook has been investigated in chapter4with thetest result of its actual user-Korean high school students, and based on analysis of results inChapter3and Chapter4, the problems of high school Chinese textbooks and improvementfor its way of Chinese textbook compilation are presented in Chapter5.Through this study, I hope importance of high school textbooks should be realized andsupplemented with current problems of textbook. So I believe Korean high school students who learn Chinese language can be educated in developed way of goal oriented learning withmore informative Chinese text books. |
