So far, In all the explanatory texts of Mengzi which arepreserved today, Zhao Qi’s Mencius Chapters is the first and intactone. It is also one of the first works on exegesis in chapters formwhich are preserved today. Mencius Chapyers analyzes Menciusthoroughly and systematically, which has abundant content andserious attitude. This chapter book not only contents well-known,but also each chapter is accompanied by chapter aims. Based onthis, this article uses the chapter rhetoric as the research object,and its discourse structure, discourse organization method anddiscourse organization means more systematic and detailedsummary, with a view to Mencius Chapters of this important work tomake more comprehensive description, in the hope of degree makeup the Mencius Chapters of textual rhetoric research, but also forthe study of evolutionary system Chapter rhetoric phenomenon andMencius theory research to provide some reference.The full text is composed of six parts.
