Analysis Of Sartre’s Theory:Existence Precedes Essence

Jean Paul Sartre, the famous French philosopher in twentieth Century, who is one of representatives of Existential philosophy and of Existential literature. There is a great deal of thoughts, including his understanding of freedom, explanation of being and nothingness, relationship between people. In my thesis, I will analyze Sartre’s texts to make a research about "existence precedes essence" which is the main content of his theories.Many scholars have comprehensive understanding for Sartre’s thoughts, but these researches focus on the deconstruction for his thoughts, just as the division of time or no relation between philosophy and literature. "Existence precedes essence" is main string through my thesis which reflects ideological origin.The explanation for "being" is key part in Sartre’s philosophical thinking, not only in the philosophy articles, but also in fictions and dramas. From this aspect, I will emphasize to analyze fiction and drama which contain some philosophical thinking. However, these thoughts have a direct expression to describe interpersonal relationship, freedom and responsibility.In the realistic significance of the article, in my view, although the upsurge of study Sartre’s thinking has past, and many scholars thought that Sartre’s thinking is belong to the last century, I also think it is very important to us. Nowadays, the economics of our country is well developing, we didn’t pay much attention in the mental world of people.
