The concept of repression had been conceived long ago, however, there was no effective way to research in the field of psychology. And in 2001, Anderson made it happen according to altering the Go/No-Go model into Think/No-Think (TNT) model, which can measure repress forget well. Quite of studies were developed base on it, and introduce the variable of emotion, mainly explore the effective of repression to negative emotion, which can add the practicability. At the same time, research to the mechanism of inhibit forgetting were also developed, and it was found that when memory was successfully inhibited, the active of forehead increase, while the active of hippocampi decrease, it means that self control is enhanced, people try to stop the form of memory according to using forehead to control hippocampi, repression forgetting is the procedure of initiation control, and the area to execute mainly is forehead. However, there were still no experiments about whether the forgetting effective is long or just temporal, and as time goes by, whether the memory forgetting in the beginning will reversion? Also, would there be any difference in the detect between explicit and implicit memory, forgetting could only be at level of conscious or unconscious? The mechanism between inhibit forgetting and natural forgetting could be identical, and will lead to the same forgetting effect.To answer those questions, two syudies were developed, the first one is a behavior one, adopting the Chinese emotional face system as material, design a three factor experiment:2(Emotion: neutral word/negative word)×2(task:Think/No-think) x 2(measure period:immediately/2days later), and two depend variables:implicit and explicit measure. And vocables decision making task is adopted for implicit measure, while for explicit measure, vocable recall in paseudorandom is required, and it turned out that emotional forgetting memory didn’t show any reversion as time goes by, the interaction between emotion and T/NT is significant, in the condition of think, no significant difference was found between neutral memory and negative ones, while in the condition of no think, there did significant differenceThe second experiment is a brain research, adopt the meaningless geometry figure material as material made by myself, only one independent variable:T/NT, testing the phase of the second and the last after a week, based on the experiment, we can find that, there is significant difference between words that can’t be recalled in the condition of NT and base line, which shows higher active in the condition of base line, while no difference between condition of think and baseline.
