| Synonyms in modern Chinese have become blocks no matter in HSK examination or in daily life to speakers learinging Chinese as a second language, due to its complexity in meaning and conventionalized styles and colors. It is quite common to see learners often make mistakes in discriminating and using synonyms. This paper will concentrate on synonyms, synonyms discrimination and some teaching methods invovled. Besides, it will develop further on the base of the reseachers, and discuss in more details.At first, it will explore the definition of synonyms. Taking different angles into consideration developed by previous reseachers into consideration, it will tell the differences between synonyms and homoionyms. And then give a general introduction to synonyms.Second, it will summarize the errors and classifications on the base of error analysis in second language acquisition. And the main reasons that cause the errors: the features in Chinese itself; the features that learners aquire Chinese; the influence of reference books and teachers.Third, in profits from the predecessor achievement, on the foundation of the theory and methord, it will propose some practical and discrimination method, which will have benefits in the synonym teaching.In a word, this paper will study and research on synonym on the foundation of previous achivements. Therefore, the writer will have a try on synonym discrimination and its teaching methods. I hope this paper will provide certain references to both teachers and students in TCSOL and give them a better understanding on teaching and learning synonyms properly in the right moment. |
