The period when Fujian Incident broke out was the time of agrarian revolutionary war for Communist Party of China (CPC). The immature party then was hard to avoid deep influence from the Communist International, basically copying and imitating its theory and policy. Around and during the time of Fujian Incident, the CPC’s implementing of the united front policy of lower class, was generally closely related to the guidance of the Communist International. The united front policy carried out by the Communist International and temporary central committee of CPC brought a loss to the whole party, who had not taken the great chance to cooperate with the top leaders of Fujian Incident to attack the common enemies. However, on the specific issues of dealing with Fujian Incident, Mao Zedong and others held different views with CPC’s delegation in the Communist International and the temporary central committee headed by Bo Gu, Li De. Wang Ming, Bo Gu and their side basically embarked on a dogmatic road, being affected by the Communist International, whereas Mao Zedong and others sprouted their own consciousness. The germination of their own consciousness urged the majority of the CPC began to rethink the united front policy after the failure of the incident, which laid a solid thought foundation for seeking the anti-Japanese national united front and could be of great and profound significance to the change of CPC’s united front policy. The thesis attempts to card the connection between the Communist International and the change of CPC’s united front policy around the time of Fujian Incident, representing a course of CPC’s accepting the guidance of the Communist International and bravely resisting the errors and shackles of the Communist International’s united front policy as well. The first part focuses on the basic situation of the Communist International and CPC’s united front policy before Fujian Incident, and analyzes the origin of the Communist International’s theory and united front policy to the CPC’s class policy and united front policy. The second part makes a detailed discussion on the different attitudes in dealing with the specific issues after Fujian Incident between the Communist International and CPC, pointing out that there were two sides within the party, i.e. the side who implemented the instruction of the Communist International dogmatically and the side who opposed dogmatism, maintaining their own consciousness on the specific issues of the incident. Based on this, the part tries to study further on the influence to the change of the united front policy by the different attitudes. The third part mainly elaborates that after Fujian Incident, the Communist International and CPC began to rethink the former united front policy and explores the influence to the initial formation of the anti-Japanese national united front by the reflection. The fourth part summarizes the experiences and historical enlightenment from the change and development of CPC’s united front policy with the guidance and help of the Communist International around and during the time of Fujian Incident.
