| From the respective of structure characteristics, the learner’s cognition and teaching,this thesis uses analyzing statistical method and contrast method to classify and getstatistics of the intermediate Chinese characters in The Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of OtherLanguages according to both traditional “Six Categories†and Su Peicheng’s Modern “SixCategories†theory. By getting statistics of the radicals and stroke’s number and contrastingthe results with the beginner level and advanced level’s Chinese characters, it argues anddemonstrates the rationality of the arrangements for the three levels’ Chinese characters.The content of body is as following:Chapter One states the significance of this issue and the current relative findings.Chapter Two analyzes and does statistics of the characters,radicals and strokesrespectively. Both the traditional “Six Categories†and Su Peicheng’s “Six Categories†areapplied to do classification to study from both traditional and modern way.Chapter Three,“The Contrast to Beginner Level and Advanced Level†contrasts theresults of the previous chapter to those of beginner and advanced characters and prove therationality of the arrangements of Chinese characters in the three levels.Chapter Four searches intermediate Chinese characters in Frequently Used ChineseCharacters one by one and retrieve the coverage by frequently used Chinese.From the analysis of above chapters and contrast among the three levels of Chinesecharacters, we can tell the rationality in teaching order of the intermediate Chinesecharacters part. Meanwhile, during the study, I realize we should take advantage of the progressiveness of stroke, radicals and characters and take reasonable and scientificmethods to rationalize Chinese characters teaching. |
