| "Transexperience" is an art conception proposed by the deceased artist Chen zhen who lived in France. As a former realism painter, Chen zhen started to modernity during "85art trendy" period, and his art pattern transformed from realistic feeling expression to exploring the theme of life by adopting abstract form. After moving to France, and four years of observation of the "world center" represented by western countries and self-knowledge accumulation of history of culture, art and society, etc., he started to conduct artistic creation by adopting device form, and traveled all around the world at the same time. He switched and overlaid the nutrition of "culture originality" carried by himself and various experiences and feelings gained from different time and space into a creation idea which surpass time and cultural space, and continued deepen his research in the experienced world. He tried to search for a possible culture merging way between non-western and western world aiming to cultural divergence in different regions, based on the foundation of eastern culture, and carried out art exploration widely on the themes of consuming society, urbanized progress, geopolitics, etc."Transexperience" is the main creation conception he accumulated and concluded during this process of creation.Based on Chen zhen’s unique personal experience, which is he left hometown in the1980s, and made his reputation abroad, and died in Paris in2000. His absence in domestic art circles and his early death cause the relative deficiency in domestic research on Chen zhen’s works, especially his main creation conception "Transexperience". As a widely praised Chinese artist in international contemporary art circle, his works and core of creation conception should be valued according to the author’s opinion. This thesis attempts to begin with analyzing Chen zhen’s works, teasing out the development of his creation idea and the presentation in his works, to explain Chen zhen’s artistic conception based on the venation of the composition of "Transexperience" and the generation of synergistic effect. |
