The Comparison Of Author’s Comment Between Novel"Strange Tales From A Lonely Studio" And Novel "Yue Wei Hut Notes"

In China novel history, both Ming and Qing dynasties are the most flourishing period of novel creation, however, light that the vernacular fiction sparkled has almost covered the classical Chinese fiction until the novel "Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio" which is created by Pu Songling comes out, it brings a breath of fresh air to the legend of ghost in classical Chinese novel, so this novel has pushed the classical Chinese fiction to a climax again. By the middle of Qing dynasties, Ji Yun produced the "Yue Wei hut Notes", we could see the intention of author from the title,"Yue Wei" means key points can be seen in trifles, that is to say, we can obtain principle from the literary sketches, although it has a low literary status. The novel takes "conducive to urges to punish" as standing point, hopes the thought of "leave bad from well" can be developed, then plays the role of affecting social. These two books represent the two kinds of concept of Chinese ancient novel, respectively, the characteristic of literature novel prefer to use both mythological and reality writing style, on the contrary, history novel prefer to describe the fact.This paper gives the comparisons from the following aspects:the first part lists the comparisons of open comments, both the two authors interfere with the narrative, the main style is comment."Yishishi comment" in the novel "Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio" plays the form of ending discussion to the extreme. Since the novel "Yue Wei hut Notes" have been published, it greatly break though the status of comment in classical Chinese novel, not only a substantial increase in the proportion of reviews than the past classical Chinese novel, but also emerge some novels that its length of story is less than comment. Comments are rendered in different ways in these two novels, all the "Yishishi comment" in novel "Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio" are from the anthour’s comment, including the sake of discussion and the views he gave. The comments in novel "Yue Wei hut Notes" not only contain the author’s own view, but also cite other’s standpoint and ancient works. The comments in the two books can be attributed to advice, express and reveal. In addition, there is a common phenomenon in the comments of two books that is both the two books contain a complementary story, it can be divided in four types according to its relationship with the main story. The second part is the comparison of the concealed comments, rhetorical comment take symbol as point of penetration, especially in the Styx trial, through the comparison of having recognition to the god or not, fighting or not according to the results and focusing on the process of narrative moral or handling method, via the comparison, we could see the different writing pursuit of the two authors.
