The Research On People’s Livehood Of Zhuxi

Zhu Xi is a cultural giant who is as important as Confucius in the history of China. Qian Mu praised him"as the only great man in the academic history of my country". This is not an exaggeration. As a master of jurisprudence, Zhu Xi’s doctrine system is ambitious. It involves philosophy, politics, law, ethics, education, religion, art, science and many other areas. Zhu Xi not only worked tirelessly in the academic pursuit of constructing a grand science building, but also never went against his own ideas whether official or idle. Though his political career time is not very long, but he has always been concerned with the current situation and people’s livelihood.Author believes that Zhu Xi’s benevolent government measures which based on "enriching","kindness"are the consideration of people’s livelihood and the practice of his people’s livelihood ideology. So author try to understand the aspiration of people’s livelihood in Song era from the socio-economic and political environment, social contradictions and social policies.From Zhu Xi’s political practice and political proposal, we can explore his positive activities between people’s livelihood and kingship, and reach something about his ideology of people’s livelihood.In order to explore the formation and structure of Zhu Xi’s ideology of people’s livelihood, this article discusses four parts:The first part is about the problem discussed in this article and the related literature review. This part mainly explains the purpose and significance of the thesis’topic. It shows a broad understanding of recent research on Zhu Xi’s ideology of people’s livelihood.The ideology of people’s livelihood is a combination of people-oriented, love and contribution. As a special form of history and Chinese unique cultural tradition, Zhu Xi’s ideology of people’s livelihood still affects the main values and behavioral choices in china. It also affects the development of Chinese society and the transform of western foreign culture, as well as the popularity and dissemination of global. People’s livelihood has become the focus of the current concerns of the society. In order to solve the issues of people’s Livelihood, we need to make a deep study of the ideology of ancient sages, and draw useful ideas from them.The study of Zhu Xi’s livelihood ideology is still in the initial state, there is no comprehensive and systematic study about it. But scholars already have gotten fruitful results of studies about Zhu Xi’s ideology. Some of them involve the ideology of people’s livelihood.On the basis of previous studies,Author analyses the socio-economic, political background and social contradictions about the Song era through historical analysis method. Author hopes to grasp the problems of people’s livelihood and aspiration,and analyze Zhu Xi’s people’s livelihood ideology according to his ideas and practices.The second part expounds the cultural sources of Zhu Xi’s livelihood ideology from the Confucian idea of "enriching","kindness" and feudal social relief ideology.The third part devotes to understand the political and economic pattern and the actual social of Song era which Zhu Xi live in. From the economic and structural characteristics, the main social contradictions and government policy of Song era, we can understand the social conditions, people’s livelihood, as well as the aspiration of the people of the Song Dynasty.The fourth part is a broad summary of the political practice and political ideas of Zhu Xi. From these practice and ideas, we can extract Zhu Xi’s ideology of people’s livelihood which in line with the requirements of times, people and Confucian cultural traditions. So as to achieve the thesis research purposes.
