| How to improve the teaching efficiency and quality of tones has become the focus of many scholars and teachers who teach Chinese as a foreign language. Due to the fact that tones play an extreme important role in the Mandarin pronunciation, how to learn the tones well becomes the key element in the learning of the Mandarin pronunciation; however in the actual teaching process, the Chinese teacher lack the targeted teaching towards tones and in most materials teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the explanation towards the tones is too simple, which just explains the differences of the four tones. Actually, different tones have different meanings. There are no specific descriptions of the features and phonetics change of every tone; meanwhile, there is a lack of specific training method and exercises of the tones. The thesis focuses on the Chinese tone teaching measures towards the Korean and helping the Korean people to grasp the Mandarin tones from zero starting point to advanced levels through systematic Mandarin tone teaching method.The first chapter mainly focuses on the importance of the tone taught in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the research results and current situation of tone acquisition in the teaching aspects at home and abroad, as well as the research target, method, aim and meaning.The second chapter mainly analyzes the current situation, which can be summarized in the following three aspects:First, it is the analysis of the tone errors of the Korean people, in which the pattern and reasons of the tone errors are also analyzed.Second, it is the statistic analysis towards the tone teaching situation in the materials of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, in which the author analyzes the different proportions of Chinese tones in the13books in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Third, it’s about the survey of the satisfaction degree of the Korean overseas students toward the current Chinese tones teaching pattern, in which, the four aspects are involved, which are the teaching time, teaching method, teaching materials, Chinese acquisition satisfaction degrees regarding the Chinese tones in the Chinese universities.The third chapter is about the theoretical basis of the compiling and designing of the teaching materials. The first theory is in the aspect of Chinese phonetics, the second is concerned with the designing theories of the teaching materials. In the aspect of phonetics, the author takes the features of tones as the central teaching methods. In the theoretical aspect of the design of the teaching materials, the author discusses the teaching model of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language on the basis of the construction principle.The fourth chapter is about the narration of the design of teaching materials, in which, the two main training methods of the Chinese tones are designed:the stave tone pronunciation training method as well as20kinds of tone combination analysis method. In the thesis,20kinds of tone combinations on the basis of the new HSK1-3vocabulary have been analyzed, thus combining three tone teaching samples with the example of the junior learners.The fifth chapter is the ending words of the thesis, which conduct a simple summary of the whole thesis.The innovation of the thesis lies in:First, practical applicability:to design the Chinese tone teaching materials with strong practical applicability on the basis of researching the tone errors of the Korean overseas students. It is also the most innovative part of the thesis.Second, systematicness:to systematically design the20kinds of the similar tone combinations on the basis of new HSK1-3vocabulary. These analysis data is to help the students to easily memorize the tone patterns of the single Chinese words.Third, artistic quality:in the thesis, the author points out the relevance between Chinese tone teaching and music teaching. The author holds the opinion that the Chinese tone teaching pattern should apply the music teaching techniques and take the Chinese tone teaching as the music teaching. |
