A Study Of E-C Military Diplomacy Translating Techniques

With the rapid development of science and technology, and the growing interdependent on other countries, China has greatly enhanced its cooperation and exchanges with foreign countries. Military diplomacy is an important part of national diplomacy and military diplomacy English should be translated into Chinese correctly and concisely. This paper first analyses the unique features of military diplomacy English and combines the translating principles of "faithfulness" and "smoothness" with the translating of military diplomatic terms. At last, the paper makes a deep research on the translating of long English sentences through examples, with a view to the smooth development of China’s military work.
